01What is Rejuran? How it differs from hydro and salmon injections

Rejuran is an injectable made in Korea whose main ingredient is PN (polynucleotide). It is classed as a skin booster: its purpose is to improve skin quality, not to fill hollows the way a hyaluronic acid filler does.

Rejuran is often mixed up with hydro injections and so-called salmon injections. All three are injected into the skin, but their main ingredients are different:

02Who Rejuran suits, and what to tell us before treatment

Rejuran is a skin-quality treatment. The concerns patients bring to us about it fall into three groups:

• Texture and tone: dryness, dullness, loss of elasticity
• Cheeks and mid-face: enlarged pores, uneven texture
• Around the eyes: fine lines (there is a dedicated Eye Rejuran)

If what bothers you most is hollowness, nasolabial folds or a loosening jawline, that is usually outside what a skin booster does. The doctor may suggest filler or lifting instead and explain the difference.

Tell the doctor first if any of these apply

• You are pregnant or breastfeeding
• You have reacted to fish-derived ingredients or to a medication before
• The area to be treated has inflammation, a wound, or a skin condition under treatment
• You recently had laser, lifting or another injectable treatment

None of these automatically rules treatment out. The doctor needs to know them to judge the timing and method. If your trip is short, mention them on WhatsApp before you fly.

03Rejuran price in Seoul: HB, Eye, Healer and Custom

We offer four Rejuran options. The prices below are read directly from our published price list:

• Rejuran HB 1CC: sold by the single CC, the smallest amount
• Eye Rejuran 1CC: the type made for the eye area
• Rejuran Healer 2CC: sold in 2CC
• Custom Rejuran 6CC: lets you combine Healer, HB and Eye, an option when you want the full face and the eyes treated together

Which type and how much are recommended by the doctor after she has looked at each area of your face. We do not open with the largest amount.

04Getting Rejuran at Vellicell: from WhatsApp to aftercare

You can start before you leave home. This is how a visit runs:

1. Send a photo on WhatsApp: share a photo of your face and what you want to improve, and we reply in English with the types that may suit you and a cost estimate.
2. Check in on the third floor: come to the OPUS 407 building next to Gangnam Station Exit 10 and check in at the third-floor reception.
3. Cleansing and consultation in a private room: cleansing, your one-to-one consultation with the doctor and the treatment all happen in the same private room, so you never move between rooms.
4. Treatment: carried out as agreed in consultation. If you are worried about pain, discuss anaesthesia beforehand.
5. Aftercare briefing: aftercare is explained at the fourth-floor reception. Once you are home, you can keep asking questions on WhatsApp.

05Rejuran aftercare and recovery around your trip

If you plan to combine Rejuran with lifting or laser during the same stay, schedule any heat-based treatment with the doctor. If anything not listed here troubles you, contact the clinic straight away.

For a short trip, the table above is the one to plan around: makeup is fine the same day, but the first few evenings are better kept free of drinking and a hard workout, and saunas or hot spas are best left until the week has passed.

At Vellicell in Gangnam the published prices are Rejuran HB 1CC 150,000 won, Eye Rejuran 1CC 150,000 won, Rejuran Healer 2CC 300,000 won and Custom Rejuran 6CC 770,000 won, all excluding 10% VAT. The doctor recommends the amount after looking at your skin.

Q.Is Rejuran the same as a hydro (skin booster) injection?+

No. Rejuran's main ingredient is PN (polynucleotide); our Hydro Injection (Hyaron) is based on hyaluronic acid. Both are injected into the skin as skin boosters, but they differ in ingredient and purpose, and the doctor will tell you which suits your skin.

Q.Is Rejuran actually made from salmon?+

Rejuran's PN is commonly described as derived from salmon DNA, which is why it is often called a salmon injection. If you have ever reacted to fish-derived ingredients, tell the doctor before treatment.

Q.How many sessions do I need, and how long does it last?+

Both vary with skin condition, age and lifestyle, so we do not quote a fixed number of sessions or a duration. The doctor decides the number and spacing of sessions with you after examining your skin.

Q.Why does Rejuran hurt, and can I have anaesthesia?+

It is delivered through many small injections, and how it feels differs from person to person. Our price list includes local anaesthesia and sedation (300,000 won); discuss the options with the doctor at consultation.

Q.Can I wear makeup the same day?+

Yes, you can wash your face and wear makeup the same day. Injection marks and small scabs can last more than a week, and you should avoid heavy drinking, deep massage and intense exercise for 3–5 days.
