Before & After Care
Guidance to help you recover well after each type of treatment. If anything not listed here troubles you, contact the clinic straight away.
Results and how long they last vary between individuals. Every procedure carries a possibility of side effects — please confirm the details during your consultation.
All injectables (Botox · Filler · Lipolysis · Skin Booster)
- You can wash your face and wear makeup the same day.
- Avoid heavy drinking, deep massage and intense exercise for 3–5 days — they can trigger inflammation.
- Bruising, swelling, tenderness or small raised bumps can appear, and settle within a few days.
- Heat on the treated area — hot packs, radiofrequency devices — can markedly reduce the result. Avoid for one week.
Botulinum toxin
- After masseter (jaw) botox you may feel stiffness. Avoid hard or chewy food, which can develop compensatory muscle.
- If your eyes feel heavy or your expression feels stiff after wrinkle botox, light massage and a warm compress usually resolve it within a week.
- After body botox you may notice tingling in the legs or reduced strength in the treated area.
Filler
- We use hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers, which mirror a substance the body already makes, and biodegradable PDLLA fillers. All are KFDA-approved.
Lipolysis injections (contour injections)
- Massage the area gently for 2–3 days so the active ingredient spreads evenly.
- Flushing, a shifted menstrual cycle or spotting occur rarely; these are temporary and settle within days.
Skin boosters
- Injection marks and small scabs can remain, and depending on your skin may last more than a week.
Lifting — all types
- Throbbing or a burning sensation can occur and eases within a few hours.
- No lifting result is immediate — it appears gradually over 2–4 weeks.
- Your skin may feel dry — moisturise generously.
- If blisters appear within a few days, contact the clinic and come in immediately.
- After radiofrequency lifting (Thermage and similar), let the warmth linger for 2–3 days — avoid cold packs and cold-water cleansing.
- Ultrasound lifting can leave pale stripe marks. A cold compress helps, and they fade within 2–4 hours.
Laser treatments
- Sun protection is essential — apply sunscreen to prevent darkening and pigmentation.
- Wash your face and wear makeup from the day after treatment.
- If scabs form, do not pick them — keep the area moisturised until they come away on their own.
- Avoid intense exercise, jjimjilbang, saunas and alcohol for one week.
- Melasma, redness, acne marks, blemishes and mole or tattoo removal rarely respond to a single session — repeated treatment is needed.
Laser hair removal
- Follicles can become irritated and inflamed. If the area reddens or itches, apply the ointment you were given thinly.
- Waxing, tanning and plucking with tweezers are strictly not allowed.
- Avoid intense exercise, jjimjilbang, saunas and alcohol for one week.
